What your child will learn - stage by stage
We follow the same structured programme used in our Leeds madrasa. Every child is assessed and placed at the right level - no one is rushed ahead or held back.
Stage 1 - Arabic Alphabet
Complete beginners start here. Children learn to recognise and pronounce each Arabic letter correctly - the essential foundation for everything that follows.
Stage 2 - Noorani Qa'idah
The structured step-by-step method used in traditional madrasas worldwide. Children learn to join letters, form words and read simple Arabic with confidence.
Stage 3 - Quran Reading
Children progress to reading from the Quran itself - starting with Juz Amma (the 30th chapter) and working systematically through the text at their own pace.
Stage 4 - Tajweed Rules
As fluency develops, children are introduced to the rules of Tajweed - the proper pronunciation and recitation of the Quran. The teacher corrects in real time, every session.
Stage 5 - Fluent Recitation
Children develop the ability to recite the Quran fluently with proper Tajweed - a milestone that will stay with them for life. Regular review ensures nothing is forgotten.
Stage 6 - Hifz (Memorisation)
For motivated children who wish to memorise, we offer structured Hifz sessions. Your child begins with shorter Surahs and progresses with a dedicated teacher and personalised plan.
