The Madrasa Darul Yasin was established in April 2018 (Registered charity 1192081) with the hope of meeting the religious and spiritual needs of the Muslim communities in Beeston, South Leeds.
We offer Hifz, Alim/Alima, Sanatain, Ladie’s classes and Maktaab sessions to over 100+ children.
Darul Yasin is now in serious doubt, and we are seeking your support.
- We rent a local commercial property with commercial rent, on a six-year lease with three-yearly rent reviews, paying very high rents, which is going up by £3000.
- With the Covid lockdowns and the high rent, cost of living, high heating, and lighting costs, we can no longer sustain the madrasa.
- Our future is unsustainable if the rent goes up, and the lease expires in March 2024.
We have agreed to buy the property for £360,000.
Donating to Madrasa Darul Yasin Yasin is a Sadaqah Jariyah, a ceaseless charity that will continue to benefit the community for years to come.
